Instead, I was met with people who were avoidant and did not want to discuss what had gone on at that CULT years ago. The woman on the phone, Christina - lied to me by saying “yes go to detox”, then admitted that they take you to their personal doctor for a detox. She lied. I'm looking for a recovery center in SC, as I'll be moving there soon. This seemed like a good place until I was reading the reviews and the one bad review this BUSINESS received, they responded by saying the person "left a 5 star review on a liquor store" -- like what? #1 your a business, you're going to get good AND bad reviews, stop taking them personally. I never thought I would get out of the lifestyle I had created for myself. Charleston recovery center gave me the tools for a design for living! This is a place for the hopeless and here you will find hope. I had to be willing to accept I could not think my way out of addiction and had to take action. Now almost two years sober I have a relationship back with my family and I am inspired to continue helping other people who suffer from this darkness. There is hope but you got to work for it.
