This is an essential part of your vacation/life if you happen to be in the Charleston area! If you're not in the area, go here, asap, so you can experience the east coast water the best way: paddle boarding. There are other options, kayaking and even yoga (on you paddle board by the way). Extremely affordable, knowledgeable and friendly tour guide, fantastic views and an overall phenomenal experience. Will absolutely do this again when I come back to visit.
