Maybe you are trying to find an apartment and checking out the reviews only to find they are inflated because of "tour" reviews or people being given rent discounts (my review is an honest review and there was no incentive given by the apartments to give a review). I did have a great tour with Jose who was very patient when I worried my king-sized bed wouldn't fit (it did and in a one bedroom at that) and the paperwork was easy to complete.
