I had never heard of this facility until my father experienced kidney/heart failure and needed to be near his doctors in Charleston but had no beds at CAMC. He was ambulanced from Plateau Medical Center to this hospital as a second resort. When I first saw the size of this small, tiny hospital, I thought to myself that this would be awful for him and our family, but upon admission, you knew you were in a different kind of place. This is probably one of the worst hospitals ever. Someone goes in having chest pain and they stick them out in the waiting room for over an hour without even an EKG or blood work being done in that time frame. You go to ask the nurses to do something and they look at you like you are a cockroach. Even if you're already dead I don't recommend this place because they will probably manage to kill you again.
