I am a current resident of 26 Hichborn St, and my experience with Charlesgate has been extremely disappointing and, at times, deeply troubling. The property feels unsafe and poorly managed. There are frequent loud parties on weekends, ongoing package theft, and little to no visible effort from management to address these issues or enforce basic standards. Charlesgate took over property management a couple of years ago and managed to turn things around for our building financially. Which is a testament to the team in charge of my particular building. Personally, they were very helpful in terms of maintenance whilst I was in the process of selling my unit. I have since moved on from the Boston area but can say they were far better than other management companies.

I live at The Noble and this is my fifth package stolen in less than a month. Packages are delivered to a locked mailroom with resident key fob access and signage stating the area is under video recording. Despite this, packages continue to disappear. After reporting the thefts on two separate occasions, the property manager contacted me and suggested the issue was due to my actions. I’ve had a really positive experience with the maintenance team at my apartment complex. I’ve never had any issues getting requests addressed, and scheduling maintenance is always quick and easy. The maintenance staff are consistently friendly, professional, and respectful when they come by. Every time I’ve needed something fixed, the team has responded promptly and done a great job resolving the issues. The apartments on 200 Hancock street is unsupervised and unsafe , I was visiting a friend that lives there on 3/11/26and I random lady attempted to attack me in the hallway asking if I was someone name Brittany.Followed me downstairs unhinged on something I’ve been visiting that building for 2 years and it’s always a disturbance.
