With being a busy mom and trying to get prepared for my 4 year old bday party, I decided to lean on #charlesstreetbakery for my son's bday cake. I was so concerned about them not being able to help me in such short notice, but they did!!! My son loves the movie Polar Express. I was able to send them a pic and have it printed on the cake!!! The cake was a hit!!! Everyone raved over the design and how great it taste!!! They have my 5 stars undoubtedly!!!
I should have written this review a few years ago because I got married in Dec 2012, but I just want to say that Charles Street Bakery is awesome! I had nearly 300 guests at my wedding and Charles Street Bakery made a small wedding cake for every single table along with a smaller 3 tier cake for me and my husband to cut. Each cake was different and beautiful and also a variety of flavors. Each flavor was delicious as well. Joe loves the pecan pies.. Everything is very good. The staff is very helpful, in deciding on items for special occasions.. They have everything baked and ready to go, when needed...
We've had their baked goods for over a year now and thought they were wonderful. Then my family treated me with a surprise birthday cake. OMG!!! Not only was it beautiful (a green dragon on a purple flowered background) but it was probably the best tasting cake my family has ever had! It was moist, light and the most wonderful combination of flavors we've ever had! We won't be shopping anywhere else for any of our bakery needs EVER! You ROCK Charles Street Bakery! The ONLY place I buy desserts. Cakes, cookies, brownies, pecan bars, EVERYTHING here is delicious and amazing. Wonderful, dedicated, and helpful staff and owner. You might as well set fire to your money if you're buying baked goods from anywhere but here.
