Having grown up going to a dentist who didn't believe in numbing the area before drilling or filling cavities, I was not fond of having to go to the dentist when I moved to Chattanooga in the late 1970s as a student at Tennessee Temple University. I picked Dr. Fussell out of the phone book and found a dentist who was PERFECT for me. It's not that I looked forward to appointments, but I wasn't terrified anymore. Really kind man respectful
I have been going to Dr. Fussell for forty years. He gives painless injections and is great with pain control during procedures. He is also a proactive dentist who pays attention to gum health and as a result has helped me keep all of my natural teeth over the years. I have a few crowns and none have ever failed. I recommend him highly.
