I found out before I left New York for Florida that I had a macula hole in my left eye. I decided to have this resolved while in Florida. I was fortunate to find Dr Charles Gremillion who performed the surgery with success. The staff at his offices and St Andrews Surgical Center of Venice were outstanding. When I arrived back home in New York I had an appointment with my Doctor and he was quite impressed with the work Dr Gremillion performed.
Although not on every visit, be prepared to wait BUT that is because he will spend however long it takes to treat you. He is very focused, VERY patient oriented, and NEVER gives up. He has done surgery on me and has had to treat a complication from cataract surgery (not the surgeon's fault and Dr. Gremillion specializes in treating that complication). My wife is just as complimentary as I am. Oh yes, he was/is treating me for a condition that could cause me to go blind in one eye.
