I received a letter from my mortgage company's insurance dept. stating I was paying too high a deductible on my HO6 insurance policy. Laura Kersting, State Farm representative has walked me through the steps needed to resolve this issue. She consulted her co-worker Sharon Kendall, who also has been resourceful in resolving my townhome insurance coverage. My sister, Margaret Storick, and I both have had State Farm our entire lives. Margaret's husband recently passed and Lori Bowles should be named State Farm employee of the year with all that she has done to assist Margaret since she and her husband (who used to work for State Farm when he got out of Law School) moved to Summerville when he retired as an attorney of 48 years from Charlotte, N.C. I called Charles Chitwood State Farm to report an accident and to get information on submitting required paperwork and filing of claims. Benak Smith answered my call. He took the time to answer all of my questions, connected me to claims, and made arrangement for me to meet with him to turn in all required forms.
