Best BBQ in L.A...and I am from the South and know my BBQ!
Surprisingly wonderful food. I had the brisket and it was great. Excellent and creative sides too. The surprise was the selections of bourbon. Brisket , bourbon, is there anything else that matters? I know I'm going back.
Jonny and I were pretty impressed with everything we ate. The brisket was tender, the BBQ sauce was yummy (as good as the Stubbs Mesquite.) All the sides were also really yummy! We are so grateful to have some place like this in Silverlake! We'll be back!
If this is KC style, then I now know why Memphis style is superior. The meat had a taste of creosote.
