I was part of a larger party for a after work dinner. I had never been there before but had heard great things and was not disappointed! The atmosphere is welcoming, our waiter was very attentive and happily answered all of our questions. The food was delicious and I was impressed with the portion size. Will definitely be coming back!
Any restaurant that has “pickle spear available upon request” printed on their menu is taking itself far too seriously. And thus Chapman’s suffers from the conflicting priorities of providing higher-end dining in a bar setting and cutting costs at every opportunity. The front of house staff operate with all of the aplomb and warmth of Stalin-era Soviet officials.. as if that extra ramekin of jalapeños will land their loved ones in the gulag.
