We were under the impression that there were separate intake areas... away from all other patients. What we learned is that males were provided beds that were within a male focused area; although, still not separate from individuals who had moved on from the intake process, they were removed from the Communal area. Femals who come in for assistance, are placed in two rooms that are connected to the Kitchen and the Main Communal area. Only a few staff members make this place worth wild. They focus too much on medication in my opinion. I was there for alcohol problems, but there is little focus on that
I went here after being released from prison. My parole agent got me a bed here and this place was okay. Food okay not too many classes and they didn't choke you out with AA. This was during COVID pandemic so family visiting was difficult but drop-offs were okay. My parole agent couldn't have been more pleased I stuck it out. A lot of people jump the wall and don't return. Ridiculousness
This is hands down the best rehab out there. I am grateful I found this hidden gem. This place turned my life around and provided a tenth and final opportunity at life for me. I will forever be in debt to to Chapman House for the kindness, love, therapy and support they showed me while I was in the trenches. I am healthy and alive now because of Chapman House. Best choice I ever made!
I'm not the one to write reviews often, but I have to say that Chapman House helped me keep one of the best employees on track, and I could never think that I'll ever worry about my people that much. But after I learned about my assistant's cocaine addiction, I understood that I had to do something about it, and I decided to contact this addiction treatment center. Now everything is fine, and I hope everything will remain that way
