Amazing service The first time I used Chapel Hill Tire was because my car broke down in the parking lot of the grocery store next door. I called and asked if they could tow it, but they didn't have a tow truck. Instead they pushed my car across the parking lot. In a matter of hours they fixed it, replacing 2 belts for only $85 dollars. Since then I have been a loyal customer. At the end/start of the month they can get pretty crowded for car inspections so call ahead. It helps to schedule your routine stuff mid-month. They us... read more
Mrs. Sanders I have never seen anything like what these people charge. 4 spark plugs, they tried to charge me $125.. timing belt 1500.. I had the spark plugs done in Pittsboro for 50 and a timing belt put on for 650. I have a friend who recently went here before she bought a car thinking she could trust that they would tell her everything wrong before she bought. She stressed to make sure the head gasket wasen't blown, because at 100,000 miles that happens and they said no problem. Well they told her it was fine, she bought ... read more
Great Tires This is a great place to get new tires for your car. They were quick and pretty reasonably priced. They were able to repair one tires without having to replace the tire. I feel that they are very honest and reliable people. I would recommend taking your car to this store for tires.Â
George K These guys are awesome, very knowledgeable, do a great job on my repairs and Jason is the most courteous gentleman to deal with.Â

If money isn't a concern. Friendly and courteous, but very expensive! For an oil change, repair a wire, resurface rear brake rotors and rear brake pads? $505.00Â
Beware Charged an 18 year old college student on his way to Spring Break $868.00 to replace a fuel pump and filter. : ( 'Nough said.Â
Friendly team- easy to work with! My car broke down and as we all know- this is a stressful situation for anyone- especially someone who knows NOTHING about cars! Chapel Hill Tire Company made it easier for me. They kept me in the loop as they determined what was wrong with the car and gave me different options for repairs. They worked with me to fix only the necessary parts and I felt confident that they did not try to rip me off and had it done in a reasonable timeframe Also, they kept all the broken car parts as I request... read more
IF you have plenty of time.... Expect extremely slow service. Granted, we all expect some sort of wait when getting new tires, but this place was just about as slow as one can get. We got a state inspection here once and it took, I am not kidding, 3 hours to get it done. So, if you have plenty of time, consider this establishment. If you're looking for an avg. wait time, skip it.Â
