It is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in Eugene/Springfield area. Every menu option is amazing, the service is fast and friendly, and I think everyone working there took time (multiple times) to engage my 15 month old grandson . . . very much to his delight. The best!!
I am from the south (Tennessee) where cheese dip is in abundance. This is the only place we have found so far that has cheese dip! The food is always excellent and HUGE portions. If I ever have friends visit, I will have to bring them here.
Been coming here for years and it has never disappointed me. I'm not going to lie, the food can be a bit bland (or over-salted) depending on what you order (hence the 4 stars), but the service has always been great, the Mexican staples are cooked correctly, and I never leave hungry.

I am vegan. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegan entrees, and the quality of these items!
My mama and I love Chapalas. The best Mexican food. Friendly atmosphere and great service. We eat there whenever we have a hankering for enchiladas which is all the time.
I've tried almost all the Mexican restaurants in town and Chapalas is my favorite!! Best tasting food and reasonable prices! And I love he outdoor seating area!
