The Chao center is amazing. Dr Kari Kansal is so compassionate and an amazing surgeon! I am so fortunate to have her on my team. I would highly recommend her. She is just the kindest person.
This place has a constant poor handling of referrals. The infusion center cannot process referrals placed by your primary doctor even if they're within the UCI Health network because they only process their own referrals from their own center providers. Okay, fine. I then get another referral placed by Dr. Karimi. They still didn't process it in time for my visit and then cancelled my appointment. Beautiful, indoor space with tons of natural light from the large windows that offer views of trees and the hills in the distance. There is abundant outdoor space to get fresh air, enjoy a nature walk, and have a tasty snack from the cafe (vegan banana chocolate muffin was a good choice). All of this lovely scenery and amenities while waiting for a loved one to go through surgery makes the stressful process go much more smoothly. Brought my 95 year old great grandfather here for cancer treatment, every visit we were treated with such care and compassion. The place is clean and well organized. The nurses are very comforting and well knowledged. 10/10 would reccomend this center. They did a lovely "good-bye" as we finished his cancer treatment. They know how to make us feel welcomed, it was a lovely experience all around!✨️💕
