Another great stay at the awesome Chanticleer Inn. Our room (Aerie) was large and had great views. The AC was nice to have but only necessary briefly this stay. The living room is an excellent place to hang out with your travel mate, friends, family, or new acquaintances. The king bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were truly excellent. The innkeeper, Dean, is very nice and very knowledgable about Ashland and the various activities around the area. The designated parking area is a bit tight and a few extra spaces would... read more

Chanticleer is where we always stay when we're visiting Ashland. We recommend it very highly - pleasant staff, very comfortable rooms, every convenience you could want, and well-located for restaurants and theaters. The breakfasts are also great.

The bed was very comfortable, the fireplace was a wonderful touch... read more

This year was my second stay at Chanticleer, and I couldn’t be happier. The rooms are a great size with nice bathrooms. The house itself has a lovely living room and outdoor spaces with snacks and tea always available. The breakfast each morning is catered to your dietary restrictions, and delicious. The bacon was something special. Lastly, the focus on eco friendliness and unscented products put things over the edge for me. Way to go Chanticleer Inn!
