Dean, Stevie, Nikki, and the entire staff at Chanticleer Inn in Ashland made our son and daughter-in-law's wedding weekend truly unforgettable. Comfortable room and bed, delicious breakfast, delicious cookies in the evening, nice to hang out in the living room and outdoor spots. I particularly loved the porch and was sorry it was too hot to use it in the afternoon. Very close to downtown
Wonderful location, 10 minute walk from OSF theater venues. Excellent service, very clean, extra amenities such as in-room fridge and teakettle. Beautiful garden and yard--and although this isn't about the inn specifically, there appears to be a small herd of deer that live about a block away which you will see morning and evening. My only caveat is that despite a window a/c and a thoughtfully provided fan, for me, the room was uncomfortably warm (outdoor temps were mid-70s). Dean and his staff are fantastic and what a great location within a short walk to town and events!
I really enjoyed my stay on 2/14/26. What a wonderful place. Easy check in, clean, adorable and the breakfast… WOW!
