Performs as good as it looks! I'm very happy with these pieces ( I have at least10!), love cooking and am never disappointed with my cookware. Well made and always a pleasure to look at.

I had the tea pot for one month before it melted.
50$ teakettle rusted and the spout no longer closes after 2 months of normal use. Took 2 emails to get a response from CS (ultimately unhelpful) and don't even bother trying to get these folks on the phone.

Chantal teakettles are all produced in the best factories out of the best materials available. In spite of our best efforts occasionally something can go wrong in the production and the result can be a disappointing product. This is rare and we take extreme steps to fix the situation. Replacements/refunds are given with our apologies. I love the Classic Chantal cookware I lost one pot and I been looking for a replacement can't find I wish you would be them back I love the straight handle and the lid on the classic cobalt blue
I purchased a copper plated tea kettle, SL37-19CP Aug 2013. The copper is disappearing. I emailed the address given to me from their customer service # last week, Tuesday, March 3 including pictures, etc. Still have not gotten a reply. Paid $150 for this. It works great but after taking care of the copper as directed, am EXTREMELY dissatisfied. What a waste of money. I DO NOT recommend anyone buying a product from this company.
