New England Flair When you go to Yankee Candle you should not overlook Chandler's Tavern. It is New England fare at its best. They have fun events too. If you have kids, ask about the Fancy Nancy lunch dates for some added fun.
Good Meal I've been to Chandlers Tavern on a few occasions and the food has been very good. I do find it a bit pricey to take the whole family but it is a good meal. The staff is very friendly.
Chandlers Tavern This Tavern which is connected to the Yankee Candle is a lovely restaurant. They have the best soups .... on a cold day after touring the Yankee Candle store. They also have an area where you can sit outside during the warmer weather. If ever making a trip to YCandle stop by you will not be disappointed.
A must when at Yankee candle You have to try it at least once. The lunches are much more reasonable than the dinners and the kids menu is very good. I am looking forward to trying one of their monthly wine tastings in the spring.
Relax and Eat After spending a few hours shopping at Yankee Candle is down and enjoy a relaxing lunch. Friendly service and good food are always on the menu. Enjoy the wood post and beam structure of the interior.
Good food Chandlers Tavern is a good place to dine if you don't mind paying a higher price. The dinner menu is expensive. Your best bet is to go for lunch when the menu is more affordable. That will leave you money for buying candles next door.
Food of the Highest Quality The meal I ate there recently was one of the best I have ever eaten. Lobster mashed Potatoes and Grilled Salmon. The portions are small but filling. I left with a full stomach. The meals are very expensive but well worth it. Great place to have a romantic dinner.
No Thanks Chandlers Tavern is the most overrated restaurant I have ever been to. Apparently, this passed as fine dinning in western mass. Service is moderate and the food is basic. They have a nice wine selection. But it is entirely to expensive for the experience. However if you are willingly to pay for a candle that is $25 dollars I guess there is a sucker born every minute. Personally, there are better products for less. Try Pilgram they are not so corporate.
Lunch We went here for lunch. The food was good and the service was fine. The prices were really what we expected for this kind of place. It was good to get food and get off of our feet after a morning of shopping. It was a nice touch to our day!
