I’m really disappointed with my experience here. I found out that my counselor is not fully licensed yet and is still completing her master’s degree, which was never clearly explained upfront. I understand that everyone has to start somewhere, but as a client, I think it’s important to be fully informed about the qualifications of the person you’re trusting with your mental health. Amazing place I travel from Pueblo just to be seen by this business and Samantha is an incredible and compassionate person that makes you feel so comfortable from the first meet. And I could imagine that is how all the staff is at Champions Counseling!

I specifically asked for them to check with insurance and when I found out they don’t take ours, we were already two sessions in. Now we got a 300 dollar bill because they were more focused on filling spots than making sure insurance was good. Counselor himself was great, just knew that insurance isn’t accepted everywhere which is why I wanted that to be clear before doing any additional sessions. Owner reached out to resolve the issue. Thank you.
