Great experience! The volunteers were a bit nervous, but that was kind of endearing and just added to the overall positive atmosphere.
We signed up for this from out of state, not knowing what it was. We thought it would be some star viewing basics. Turned out to be a very strange class-room style speech, and then a trip up to the telescope. We had bad luck and total cloud cover, so we basically sat through a class about Star Trek and star units... with no payoff edit: 9yrs later, 1 star was kinda harsh - editing to 2
