I canceled my policy months ago, after having it for 2 days because of a misunderstanding with my other insurance company. It took Geico's insurance people to reach out to me SIX MONTHS after the fact to say that I owed them money. I called to ask them why I got a bill and they said my renters policy was never canceled on their end. Amazing experience working with these guys! Very friendly and knowledgeable. I couldn’t find a company to take care of all of my insurance needs because of how limited Alaska can be and not only did I save money, but they cared about the coverage I was getting. It’s not always about price with me, but the customer service matters.. you know? Really great agency highly recommend!
If I could give them a ZERO star I would. I used Geico for my homeowner's insurance when I closed on my home in early January. Shortly after, they sent an inspector--who apparently came and left without ever knocking. My dogs would've heard, and I definitely would've answered. Having only lived there a few weeks I didn't know my doorbell didn't work. I fixed the issue immediately the next day by installing a Ring doorbell.
