RecommendedI had both of my babies at WDH and the staff is wonderful! Through any complications I had they remained calm, professional, caring and most importantly, they kept both myself and my babies safe. Great group of people and the room was beautiful! My husband also had shoulder surgery at the hospital and felt the same way about his experience. WDH is unmatched by any other surrounding hospital! The exude compassion and give the same great quality care found in Boston. Skip the traffic—go to WDH!
I can’t wait till Portsmouth Hospital ER opens in dover. This is the second time in 2 weeks that I’ve been to this ER and waited in the waiting room in well over an hour. Between Wentworth, Frisby, and Portsmouth....Wentworth is definitely at the bottom of my list since they got bought out. From now on, I’ll take the 25 min drive north or south rather than going to the hospital 2 mins from my house.
I’m very upset right now. My poor adult daughter had to be dropped off at the ER today. About 2:30 they said. She needed an IV of steroids for the third day. It’s now 6 hours later and she’s still in the waiting room. Hasn’t been in the back yet! I know 3 ambulances have come in but gee, all she needs is an IV which a nurse could start. I’m very very upset. For a multi million dollar hospital, they sure need to figure things out. This is not okay!! Stay away from the ER. 😡😡
I had an ultrasound more than two weeks ago. My endocrinologist needs to discuss the results with the doctor who read that ultrasound. Apparently, that doctor is out this week. Seems to me, there should be someone filling in for her...instead of making patients dealing with cancer and other issues anxiously wait for answers. I am currently very disappointed with WDH
Just had day surgery at WDH and was very impressed with the entire process. The staff was very professional, but caring of my needs. Everything went smoothly. My surgeon, Dr Bregar, is wonderful. Despite being a stressful day for me, WDH team made this experience much less stressful on me and my family. Thank you!
After having our first two babies at another local hospital, we got into the WDH network after our 3rd daughter was diagnosed with a fatal birth defect. The care we received throughout our pregnancy a delivery was nothing less than phenomenal. The love and kindness shown from every nurse, doctor, and staff member through our journey into perinatal hospice gave us some relief in a devastating situation. I stayed overnight after having surgery and the care I received was incredible! The doctor and nurses are amazing! Attentive, kind, caring staff. I highly recommend Wentworth-Douglass hospital, the doctors and the staff.
