RecommendedI went to the ER this morning for major abdominal pain and the staff were very friendly and thorough, especially with my difficult veins. They finally succeeded by using an ultrasound to locate the “mother-load” of veins for finally getting a blood panel. They are very resourceful!
I do not recommend going to Wentworth Douglass Express Care Imaging Center, which apparently is part of Wentworth Douglass hospital. I don't recommend going there because it is not a hospital, yet you will be billed as though you were at WDH. My understanding has always been that hospitals don't close. The imaging center in Lee, NH does close therefore it is not a hospital and should not be billing as one. My elderly parents were 10 min late for an appt in your pulmonary office and they were turned away. My mom has end stage CHF and COPD and that’s how you treat your elderly pts? I work in the medical field in Florida for a major hospital. We would NEVER turn a pt away especially an elderly who has trouble moving and breathing! Do you even care about PT care and excellent care at that? How would you feel if it was your ill mother? I have heard the last horrible story about this hospital. You should be ashamed! The wait time in the er is rediculous. Last visit was a 1.5 hours just to get meds, then 5 more hours before q doc came in. It was not a busy night. The nurse said they have cut back on saline flush????? What else? I question the care and will go elsewhere next time. No wonder no one wants to go there...

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital treats patients like they are family and do a thorough job when they are trying to find out what brought us to the ER. I have history with this hospital and they know me very well here.

Had an absolutely amazing experience with my same day surgery at WDH. The staff was super kind, sweet, caring and very personable. Joanne (or Joann) Katie, Shannon, you guys were AMAZING. Jennifer, the nurse whom I woke up to directly after surgery was an absolute peach. You guys made me feel safe, secure, and made it a pleasant experience for me. Can’t thank you ladies enough!!! Hope you ladies see this review and know how awesome you are ❤️
