Ceoltas Irish Pub is best in Harrisburg This is my favorite pub in Harrisburg. Excellent selection of draft beers. Very roomy. Service was crisp. My one meal was pub style but above average. I will definitely be going back.
Good aspects - live music, good selection, two levels. Bad aspects - WAY too crowded/stuffy, takes a while to get a drink during peak hours, etc.
Not as Friendly as it could be – This is a pretty nice bar, and was a nice addition to the Harrisburg scene. It has a decent selection of draft beer (unfortunately as with many Irish pubs recently got rid of Bass Ale, which makes it impossible to order the traditional "Black and Tan"). My major complaint is that the bartenders are not particularly friendly, and one in particular acts as if she is doing you a favor by pouring a pint.
