The pharmacy delayed dispensing the medication until the very last moment and did not inform us upfront that they would refuse our insurance. The medication was rare but covered by our plan. The only difference from the regular version was that it came in liquid form—the pharmacy simply needed to crush the tablets and mix them with a standard liquid in the correct proportion.
