New York, New York – Century 21 is definatley as it says, the best kept secret of New York. Once I was in there and saw an actress from All My Children buying a Marc Jacobs sweater she could probably afford at full price. Even for the everyday person though, its a great place to get those designer clothes you can't afford to buy at full price. I bought $198 Joe's jeans for only $69.99!! Amazing – This place is unbelievable for guys. I bought a Ted Baker shirt, Seven jeans, D&G t-shirt, and a Burberry dress shirt for about $170. I only spent about 2 hours in there but could have spent the entire day.
Good bargains! – I came here and ended up with 5 polo shirts, 3 pairs of shoes, 7 blazers, and 2 skirts! Its way downtown, literally right across the street from the World Trade center sight. I came on a Saturday and didnt find it all that packed, despite what other reviews say. Everything was a bargain, I got alll my stuff for under $200 total! THey had a good selection, but the location was sort of out of the way.
Awful – I was very disappointed in this place. It's so famous and liked, but i found it terrible. Everything was UGLY!!
Bargains galore – Be prepared to spend a few hours digging your way through the selections but your patience will be rewarded as you find the bargains! I imagine this place can be hit or miss at times so it's probably worthwhile to become a frequent broswer. The actual displays seemed a bit overwhelming and the clothes hadn't been folded or placed back in the proper place after a day of too many shoppers but that all seemed to be part of the madness associated with trying to find a designer dresss at a 300% discount.
Stock up on essentials--and a designer party dress--at this bargain-hunter's department store. – You'll love pawing through the hodgepodge racks of designer items (priced a lot lower than when they first hit stores). This is hunt-and-gather shopping: Stroll, collect, try on. Repeat if necessary. Low-priced household items and electronics are in the basement, where sheets, towels and pillows go for well below the norm. what's not to love? – Okay, seriously, what's not to love about Century? It's one stop shopping at its best. The housewares section is fabulous, the purses are wonderful, and the perfume collection is a bit small, but you can still find standards like Clinique and Lancome. I love Century. Basically everything in my home comes from that store and I go back again and again. I'm never disappointed when I got. Great Secletions at Great Price – I must say I loved the shoe Department better when they were in the main building because it was easlier to find the sales and bargains. Now they have everything spread out and it can be quite a challenge looking for what you want. The staff is no help and have had 2 occasions where they told me they didn't have something and I went and found it myself.
Find Everything you need – This store offers everything that you need. From clothes to bags to shoes. You can find everything in this store. And at great prices. Mostly Italian designers. I love this store.
