Been with them over 5 yrs mostly use Thomas road facility very friendly n helpful see a lot of bad reviews but take this how you want it did yall go in with a attitude cause something had happened with your account or did yall go in with a open mind 9/10 people will treat you how you come at them I've witness bad attitudes an the teller was being nice but the lady wasn't listening to what the teller was telling her she needed so don't be so quick to blast someone when you're not together your self an that stuff about the cos... read more
Centric SUCKS. Literally could go on for days about issues I've had. But I'll just say that majority of (definitely not saying all) the employees are in no rush to help you. I got scammed over a year ago and it was a mistake they should've caught but didn't and I had to pay it back. Im still very mad about that. And another time, my card info was stolen and charges were made and I never received a refund or anything simply because they couldn't find the person. Anyways, do not bank with centric. Or any credit union for that.... read more
I tried opening an account there today and none of the proof of residency papers I brought were good enough. I went to my landlord and had my name added to the lease by her and her husband and it still wasn't good enough. I was told that they already saw it without my name so it didn't count and to go get my license changed. So...question. My lease with my name is supposed to be good enough for the DMV to change my address but not for a credit union?!?! I moved over to credit unions late, was using standard banking before that. When I moved to North Louisiana, I opened an account with Centric. For me, the experience was night and day better than the banks I've used, and those banks were generally above just adequate. But Centric has set a new benchmark as far as I'm concerned. This outfit feels more like a bunch of friends who help me do banking and in some cases, make general financial advice and help available. A long way from impersonal "money-in-money-out" encounters. Love my bank and the ppl that work there... they're so helpful and truly want to help me get my money matters back in order and I cant wait to repay for 1st loan.
