UPDATE: Closed! The company that owned this practice abruptly closed it. I'm so disappointed and appreciate the help I got from staff in trying to find a new dental practice to go to. * * * * Friendly and efficient staff. Very competent dentistry in my opinion. I feel I can trust what they do and tell me. Dr. Gilbert has retired from here and Dr Zhao is the new dentist. She is friendly and a good communicator. I've come here for years and intend to keep coming!
Gilbert Dental Care was my dental home from the early 1980's until this year. I recently asked for my records and left the practice. The office and policies have changed dramatically, and this is a ship that appears to be going down. Dr. Gilbert and his staff were professional, caring and very experienced. A dental corporate entity, Elite Dental, bought the practice, and it’s now night and day from how it was run by Dr. Gilbert. AVOID FOR COSMETIC WORK. Caren Martin, who does their bonding and making of temporary veneers is not a cosmetic dentist, she is an expanded dental function assistant and her work on me was terrible. The temporary veneers were wide, bucked, protruding flared and led to a nightmare. I came for bonding on one tooth, got talked into 2 veneers and left with 4 altered terrible front teeth. Go to an actual dentist for cosmetic work. Thank you.
Dr. Gilbert was an amazing dentist and his team is/was so fabulous. Centre Square does not deserve to inherit his 5 star rating, that's for certain! This corporation he sold to is running it into the ground. The office manager / front desk woman (short dark hair) is beyond rude in person, yelling and berating clients in front of staff and other patrons, she'll hang up the phone on you too!
