I cannot no longer recommend Trident hospital as they are extremely unsanitary with not having private rooms for their patients!! This causes additional unneeded anxiety on patients trying to recover from procedures to be placed in a room that smells like poop due to having a shared room with someone who is obviously not a very clean person or being taken care of by the nursing staff appropriately and soiling a shared bathroom. YOU NEED TO DO BETTER!!! You all charge more … See more

CICU did a good job caring for my son and the team who cared for him when he arrived saved his life but once he was move to the 3rd floor and then the 5th the quality of care was less than acceptable to say the least. Wound care was not done to his ear, It was ignored, it took them 4.5 hours to clean his private area so could stop itching and pain meds were not given unless I was there to ask for it, my sons request were ignored. I just want to say thank you to everyone at this facility! You took such good care of my mother last night! I hope we don’t need to bring her back anytime soon but if I had to bring her back to the facility it would definitely be this one! God bless all the doctors nurses and staff!

Summerville medical center is #1 Micaela Bartash and Tyler did a outstanding job with all procedures and explaining everything they always make me and my family feel at home I highly recommend them to other families

Summerville Medical Center . Some of your nurses lack any kind of empathy & professionalism. I had a very traumatic experience with Nurse Shannon Patrick. She LITERALLY ignored everything I was telling her about how my IV was hurting more than it should. And it shouldn’t at all.[not to mention I declined having the meds or the IV administered but she still proceeded to ignore me and stick around for a vein that took her literally 30 minutes to find] But after having my CT scan done I asked if she could remove the IV since I ... read more

i had been having a back spasm for 3 days. been trying to take it. Im use to having back pain come and go because my back isnt in the best of shape after giving birth to 9 babies. well yesterday the pain got to the max and i couldn't take it any more. My mom drove from walterboro to my house in Ridgeville just to take me to summerville medical.
