In this case one star is too good for this unprofessional organization. I've called three times waited over 40 minutes on hold. The woman whom answered my call was extremely unprofessional unhelpful and down right rude. The woman in st Catharines took my call she was extremely rude. She talked to me like I was a child. We accessed CAMH Toronto virtually for our struggling child/ youth during the pandemic. It was a long wait list to get our struggling child/ youth services. When they did access some service, service was generally sub par and loaded with lots of bureaucracy. The psychiatrist that our child/ youth got there initially acted nice, however, they did not do much professionally to help our child/ youth. Extremely disorganized and lack of leadership. I attended an assessment and nothing was prepared in advance and I was not given any direction prior to arrival. Upon arrival I was advised that they were not properly prepared to conduct the assessment and key factors were not in place to complete said assessment. It was very unprofessional and has gone down hill over the last 5 yrs. The minister of health was advised and I loom forward to their action on the matter.
I was ignored and I never heard of anyone after they told me to wait and someone will contact you in the next 2 weeks. This is how u help people with addiction?!? That's why if ur an addict in this country ur all alone until u die
