Dr Beth was amazing in helping us make some very difficult decisions with our horse. She was kind and genuine which made a huge difference for us. She was caring and patient and didnt rush us with having to put our horse down. I appreciated that so much. My husband and are grateful for her help. She is a wonderful vet and incredible person. We have always had good experiences with all the vets here and they have always been helpful and knowledgable when we have any issues.
We have used Centre Equine Practice for many years. Dr. McAllister is great with all of our horses, from our working drafts to my super senior riding sized horses and ponies (two over 35 years old). We appreciate all they've done for us to keep the horses happy and healthy over the years.
Dr. McAllister was great caring for my daughters horses. Very kind and friendly. Very knowledgeable. The staff is always very helpful as well. We have also worked with Dr Hoffman and she was wonderful too. They both took the time to answer any questions or concerns we had. Highly recommend. 5 stars ✨
I have only worked with Dr McAllister and I have found him to be extremely caring. My neighbors dog ran my 3 week old donkey through a fence and in total I had the baby and her dam at Centre Equine for 5 1/2 months as the infection went into her hock and crippled her. Between the vet and my farrier the baby lived over a year until arthritis set in in the cold winter months and made euthanizing her the right choice since she could only use three legs. I think the staff at Centre Equine cried with me!
Friday night doctor Hoffman had to come to my barn to check the wounds on my horse. I have never been treated so disrespectful by a vet. All she did was complain the entire time she was there. So many people I know use centre equine and loved them. She ruined it for my family
I started taking my horses to Dr. McAlister in 1990. He always cared for my horses well as well as gave me good advice. The practice has grown quite a bit since then, adding additional qualified equine practitioners to the staff. They are the best! No cow vets here. They are strictly equine.
The entire staff at Center Equine are so genuinely caring. They kept me informed constantly with the progress of my horse during and after surgery. They were very prompt at coming to the stable to change his bandage and check his vitals.. Each doctor went above and beyond to be sure his needs (and mine) were met. Thank you all for your continued care.
Dr. McAllister and his team have taken excellent care of my equines over the years. They are thorough and make certain that all post exam instructions are clear. They care about their patients as much as the owners do, and I wouldn't want any other team looking after my horses, routine or emergencies!
