Good service, knowledgable staff – YMMV, ... I have had great service and information from United Welding since 1980's. The counter and phone help has always gone out of their way to assure my products are in stock when I arrive, (40 mile trip) and prices have been very good. They have offered assistance finding unique items and referral to other suppilers when it would speed my progress. I am willing to go out of my way to utilize this business.
Amazingly bad, unproffessional service, rife with error – Worst customer service experience I've ever had, anywhere (and I'm pretty easy to please). They've overcharged me or given me the wrong materials multiple times, but the final straw was when their mistake took 2 return visits (one by my employee, one by me) to reach even a compromise resolution, they refused to take responsibility for their employee pulling the wrong stock despite having placed the order in writing, the manager was rude and personally insulting when I... read more
