It seems that CVWMA doesn't care about the growth of RVA. Their behavior in allowing hazardous waste to be dumped in a warehouse designed to provide operating space for small businesses is not only irresponsible, but indicative of their sentiments toward our city.
Despicable that you would encourage consumers to recycle their CRT's though you and then you allow the materials to sit abandoned and not recycled in a warehouse for someone else to deal with. Very disappointing.
It's crazy that the CVWMA, who's job is to properly dispose of waste so it won't damage our environment, is letting hazardous waste it was suppose to dispose of sit in a warehouse in South Richmond. If this was happening in any other part of the Richmond area, it would have been taken care of months ago. Just disgusting.
Stop dumping your toxic trash in underserved neighborhoods.
Read the article about how you guys are illegally dumping hazardous waste in warehouses where you think people won't notice, instead of actually recycling it like you're supposed to. REALLY?? Two words: FIX IT.
do not make this community your dumping ground! your e-waste disposal program illegally dumped 285,000 pounds of hazardous waste in the Jeff Davis Corridor, block a new project that will bring 500 jobs to Southside Richmond! That waste was abandoned by a contractor through a program run by the CVWMA. Spread the word. VERY disappointing.

Horrible! They have missed my pick up 3 times already, then when I call, they act like it's a big hassle. I bet they will get the point when I drop off my trash at their office!
I think they should issue bigger container, like the size of the green trash cans we put our trash in. U would b surprised how much recycled items you accumulate in 2 weeks. I think it would help the recycling program become larger. It would only benefit our community.
