What Happened to the Medical OATH? – This is the absolute WORST place to go if you are really sick. If you don't have insurance and are paying out of pocket they want NOTHING to do with you, in fact, you are SHUNNED. The Nurse wouldn't even allow the visit to the Doctor, was told "You don't need a nephrologist " and the only thing she looked at was the blood work! Central Texas Kidney Associates – I was born with a genetic kidney disease and began having problems in my early 20's. I was lucky enough to have found an excellent Dr. my first try. He had his own practice. In my mid 30's I had to start dialysis, and he told me he would be with me through my transplant, but....his health began to fail and quit practicing and I was referred to Dr. Judith Betts at CTKA. I have had Kidney problems siince I was 13 and followed by multi doctors. I am 57 now. I went to CTKA after being followed by ADC. What a difference in care that made. I see Dr Judith Betts, one of the outstanding doctors at the Clinic. She is very professional, Very Knowledgeable (one of the smartest), very kind. She is one of the Care givers that you can actual ask questions and get a return answer that understandable, if you know what I mean.
