I was a patient of Dr. Pohl. I was informed by Houston Methodist in Houston, that I needed a triple organ transplant (heart,lungs and kidney). Staff member was rude to my wife. I then called about my medication, which my wife was calling about. She was rude to me and hung up phone. I called back to speak to Dr. Pohl. So thankful for Dr Pohl and his crew at Central Texas Chest Clinic. His staff got me in urgently, as a new patient same day. Dr Pohl invested the time to take a thorough history during the evaluation. Most importantly he listened to all my concerns with sincere compassion about my health. Dr Pohl’s genuine bedside manner is a rarity nowadays. His staff are cordial, empathetic, and down to earth. Thank you Dr Pohl and staff. -Roxy

Dr. David Pohl is a great pulmonologist. He's been in practice for decades and knows more than many of the younger doctors in the field. I could see how his personality might not be to everyone's liking cause he can be blunt at times, but I appreciate his honesty and candor. His office and exam rooms are full of original cowboy art and his staff is very friendly.
