The appointment itself was fine, the office staff was quite nice, but the fact that a Shave Biopsy to remove a small mole cost me $400 dollars out of pocket is absolutely atrocious (and that’s the “cheaper” alternative to a $1000 Punch Biopsy)! Especially when I was referred to this dermatology office by my PCP to get my moles checked, and the biopsy only took about 60 seconds. Considering I already pay $505/monthly for my premium and this super simple outpatient procedure is not covered??!? U.S. “Healthcare” is a such a jok... read more
