In stressful times it is nice that we have a great place in our area to take our furbabies! The vet and all of her staff were amazing! Very kind and willing to answer all of my questions. Following their recommendations and treatment my little bean is back to her normal joyful self!
During an already very stressful time for me, I came home to find my precious kitty needing to be seen by the vet. After several phone calls I decided to make the long trip to State College to get her seen. Yes, we had a long wait, but we was not the only ones waiting for info on their pets. They updated us by phone and helped me to stay calm thru all of this. The staff was amazing at a time like this.
I just took my one year old cat there for a minor procedure. He is now dead. please please please don't take your babies here!
My dog had a very complicated labor and delivery. After about seven hours of labor and 4/7 puppies, she was brought to CPVets at night. The vet in charge never looked at her and told the technician to advise us to drive around or go home and maybe she’d have another. She was taken to another emergency vet and treated, the rest of her puppies delivered. All in all her labor took about 17 hours and resulted in one of her puppies dying. Will think very long and hard before returning.
They're absolutely useless unless you plan on putting your dog to sleep. They made me wait over an hour to spend barely 10 minutes with my dog and tell me there's nothing they can do because he needs immediate surgery that they can't provide. I paid $105 for them to basically tell me I need to go somewhere with better vets who can actually help him.
I absolutely cannot say enough great things about this office. The staff was amazing. They took great care of my dog who needed an emergency surgery to deliver her 5 puppies. It was a busy chaotic night for them and where most offices would have been stressed these folks made every single client that came through the door their top priority. I would recommend these folks 1000 times over. Thank you all for being so amazing!
We drove almost 2 hours from where we live to CPVETS because my town doesn’t have an emergency vet and it was well worth the drive. The staff, especially DR. Kerstetter treated us and our kitty wonderfully. She even recommended taking our cat to a different vet in the area for follow up care because CPVETS would be closed the next few days and that showed me she genuinely cared about our cat getting better no matter who treated him. I saw reviews on here complaining about price but they are no more expensive than any other m... read more
