We had our 3 year old Labrador Retriever here for stomach complications. After being told that it would be a few hours because they had other animals in critical condition that had to be seen prior to our pup - which I completely understood, they had our dog in and out within 30 minutes. I don’t see how it’s possible to throughly examine, treat and diagnose a dog in such a short period of time. The diagnosis I was given was basically word for word what I told them when we arrived and they really didn’t have any answers for a... read more

Our cat was treated in early July 2020 on a Sunday afternoon by a veterinarian who does not appear on the CPVets website or this FB page, does not seem to be currently local, and whose PA veterinary license expired in 2018 (according to the State Board website). He gave a misdiagnosis (that could only have been based on a careless exam) and incorrect medication, without warning of potential hazards or side effects, with the net result of more serious illness and weeks of misery for her, stress for us, and expensive follow-up... read more

They were the only animal hospital willing to see my rooster and take care of him. One of the doctors who works here has also been happy to treat any poultry issues with my "girls"- hens- as well as my rooster. There couldn't be a friendlier and more competent place. Thanks everyone!

My dog was bitten in a fight. The vet hospital was very busy this evening but they took great care of my fur baby. The ladies that I dealt with this evening were fabulous. I am ever so thankful for your kind caring nature and taking such good care of my Kourtney.

Professional, kind, compassionate. Thank you to Dr. Loar et al on July 2nd when our Golden was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma and had to be euthanized. We appreciate your kindness that evening. We are devastated AND knew we were in good hands.

Business response:

We are so very sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful, sweet girl.

Had to take my 6 month old blue heeler, Bernie, after he decided to eat allllllll of the bad things. Including chicken bones) 🙃 All of the staff was unbelievably kind and helpful. They made sure I understood everything & walked me through what to do when I took him home. So thankful for CPVETS. 💙

Business response:

Bernie was such a good boy! We hope he feels better quickly!

Very compassionate! From receptionist to tech to doctor, every person that I have spoken to was SO nice and understanding. I took my dog Macie in because she had spiked a fever of 104.5° and when we got there the team was quick to get her admitted and started treatment as soon as they could. The doctors (Dr. Loar & Dr. Bowman) both kept me up-to-date on Macie’s progress throughout the day and answered every question I had. They also tried their best to stay within my budget which I very much appreciated. Definitely recommend... read more
