Simply the best! Jo and Elaine AND staff are fairytale-worthy... The kind of medicine we sometimes think has disappeared in the U.S. They're funny, sweet, patient, and let women really take the reigns in pregnancy and birth.
Elaine was such an amazing coach, helping me each and every step of the way during labor. She was the calm, cool, and collected voice I needed on the other end of the line while I labored at home and just the smiling face I wanted to see once we arrived at the hospital! If anyone has any questions about our experience with CPM, please feel free to reach out.
These ladies are amazing :) They are very supportive and caring, they listen and take the time to tailor the birth plan to what the parents would like. My wife and I looked all over for the perfect midwives for our first child's birth and we finally found Central Park Midwifery. Thanks Jo, it was a long labor and I'm glad you were there with us.
We were beyond thrilled to have found Elaine and Jo! Being overly anxious about delivering in a hospital, I was delighted to find midwives that deliver at the Roosevelt birthing center. Both Elaine and Jo were helpful during our prenatal visits, and Elaine was superb during my delivery! I truly could not have managed without her encouragement and level head during labour :) CPM made my first pregnancy a beautiful experience. I highly recommend Central Park Midwifery!
I had the best experience imaginable throughout my pregnancy and birth with CPM. These ladies are so thorough and thoughtful and just generally amazing.
I had a wonderful experience with Elaine at Central Park Midwifery - my prenatal care was complete and even rather enjoyable, my delivery was extraordinarily well supported, and my postpartum care was excellent and well rounded. Communication was excellent, expectations were known and met, and the whole crew at CPM is wonderful and easy to get along with. I can't recommend Elaine and the crew highly enough and trust them completely - which is the biggest complement I can give.
