Very frustrating process. This office doesn’t communicate well with patients, doesn’t explain charges, and has you come in for unnecessary appointments so they can keep billing you and the insurance company. Doctor Peña was very kind, but this office and practice are terrible. I cancelled my procedure because I did not feel comfortable working with them at all (after spending hundreds in copays). This really hurts my heart that during a pandemic Dr. Pina wouldn't work out a payment plan with me to get tubes in my ear to stop the fluid, dizziness, and my lost of hearing. l've sent friends and family to him praising his great work ethics and it hurts to my soul that he would deny me after knowing I'm in pain. Have a heart. Now....i have to look for another ENT that has a heart to allow me to ateast pay half. Dr. Pina you are a cold hearted man and for that I wish no good to you.
Didn't have to wait that long and the staff was very nice. However, I was getting a consult for a septoplasty, but as I was finishing the appointment the nurse gave me reference papers for two surgeries (one was turbinate reduction), which the doctor didn't tell me about. Even though I've done research now and know it's pretty common, I would have liked to have spoken about it with the doctor first. I would have liked to discuss the risks/what the procedure entails.
They are very nice with good customer service. The place is clean and look great and the service is really good. Dr Rene was professional and knowledgeable and explained in details what needed to be done
