The pastries are delightfully delicious. The produce and meat are very fresh.
Live music and dancing on the weekend is a treat. Get there early to grab a seat and a bite to eat. Hopefully they get the air working on the west side of the room! It was hot in there!
The service was friendly and kind with my ten year old autistic child. We decided to go for grilled cheese sandwiches and French fries before going to the movies, Detective Pikachu. And Evie was all excited talking about how she was going to see the movie she most wanted to see. And how she was named Evie, after the Pokémon, Evee. wow! Beautiful gorgeous food wanted to be a kid and press my nose against the glass in the seafood department.
When I walk in the door, after being away from Austin for months, it feels, and smells, like home. Love the cafe, the bakery, the meat and fish market, the bulk section..especially spices...and most of all the most excellent display of vegetables and fruit. Simply the best specialty store in Austin, imho.
