I have always had a good experience at Central Market however last week I was disappointed with my purchase. I have no problem spending money on things if I feel like the product/good I am purchasing is worth it. I stopped by to purchase some cupcakes for a coworker bday. The lady at the bakery asked me "would you like me to write her name on the cupcake?" She never told me it would be an extra charge to have something written on the cake. Moved here from East Coast NYC/NJ was missing real Italian food. Found some good items but sadly the "Italian " sausage in butcher area is NOTHING like true Italian sausage Spice/Flavor profile just isn't there & some "Italian" baked goods also nothing like from a true Italian bakery Was very disappointed However overall the store is great. Just homesick for foods from back home.
Great Customer Service story, ready to be shocked because this really happened! Braved Central Market Westgate to pick up pies I had preordered and was shorted two pies . Realized it but was NOT going back in because it was beyond crazy at the store . I called to have them credit me and the manager called back and asked if he could deliver the pies on his way home, sure enough came with both pies and flowers. Love this store. It's exceptionally clean. Love everything about Central Market. I live a good distance from there, but I go as often as possible.

This was a memory from June 7th, with Uncle Gilbert. Makes me happy and sad at the same time. I sure do miss his love, laughter and smile.
One word: Kent!!!! I stopped in late afternoon. In an abysmal funk for lots of good reasons. And was on a mission for beautiful birthday flowers to lift my spirits. Little did I know that the amazing floral designer Kent would be a light and minister for me???!!! I was beyond moved at Kent's design and special attention to me today. Bless you central market. You are doing something really right to have a guy like Kent on your team.
