Greatest place! Excellent customer service! I take 2-3 Cooking classes a month and theChefs/Instructors are the most awesome people. They rock the classes and the food is amazing!
I have been shopping here since it opened in April of 1999. I love the quality and selection, and the HEB prices for same products. I always feel at home here, the staff is genuine and helpful. I live in the neighbourhood and often just go in for a coffee and chat with Mark B, their quite knowledgeable roaster. My favourite grocery store by far in South Austin's 78704!
I tell people all the time that this is the most Beautiful grocery store EVER. It is the NEIMAN MARCUS of foodie stores! ❤️❤️❤️
Why don't you guys have more recycling bins or compost options in the restaurant? It makes you guys look really bad as compared to *ahem* some other similar establishments (who will not be named).
Ok. But I prefer Central one on N Lamar. How much more do I need to say to reach 50 characters.
Mostly a great place but thought people working in the departments are supposed to be informed about the products in those departments. Dear Cheese ladies who argued with me today, please google Brie and Camembert cheeses. They are not the same. Camembert is not a Brie! If you are going to be assigned to a specialty department you need to know your products.
We love this store and have been coming here for years now. What prompted today's review though was the awesomeness of the employees. As we were walking in to the cafe today, my son proceeded to projectile vomit all over me and the floor. One employee was just incredibly kind about the entire situation. Told me not to worry at all, go get cleaned up and they'd take care of it. She gave me a handful of the hardcore paper towels and even one of their hatchapalooza shirts since I was covered in vomit.
