Central long island pediatrics is a wonderful and caring practice with an excellent reputation. The doctors and staff are warm, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. They feel very strongly about children being vaccinated and protected against all diseases, and have worked with many families on a schedule that is medically acceptable. If you do not stick to the agreed upon schedule or choose not to vaccinate then they do kindly ask you find a practice that might be a better fit for you.

My husband took our 3 year old for a vaccine. We refused the vaccine and was kicked out of the practice. Dr. Love is a rude and condescending woman. she was disrespectful and nasty to my husband who then had a few choice words with her and walked out. First, we agreed with the practice that we would do 1 shot per month. I also mentioned to the doctor that I only wanted to give what was needed for school. The practice and I agreed and then, bam. I was a life long patient there and brought my child there. I was then kicked out right after Dr. Galinkin retired because I wouldn’t follow the CDC schedule after my child had some negative reactions to the vaccinations. A complete disregard for my child’s health. It still irks me as I have learned so much since then. The real doctor has retired from the practice. Love the entire staff! They are always so professional and courteous on the phone and in person. All four of the doctors that work there are wonderful. They really take their time and address any concerns you may have. Between well care checkups and emergency sick visits I never have an issue making an appointment for my son. They also have separate waiting areas for children who are there for well visits and children who are there for sick visits.

I was treated as a child and now my children are patients. The doctors are caring and listen to your concerns and never rush you out. The front desk staff and nurses are the best!

Been taking my kids here since they were born. They are now 2 and 5 and a half. The service we've received has always been excellent. The doctors, nurses, and office staff are warm and caring.

I have been taking my daughter here since she was a baby, almost 5 years now. So happy with her doctor, who always takes time with us and we never feel rushed. Fortunately I haven't had to bring her in for too many sick visits but when I do they have always gotten us in quickly. We moved and continue to make the ride to her doctor for her annual visits. The office is remarkably clean and they have a separate sitting area for sick patients.
