My experience with CKE was the best one I’ve had with any optometry location I’ve visited. The ENTIRE staff was great; from the moment I was greeted, through the examination and to the eyewear selection process, everyone was truly amazing. For convenience, I typically visit one of the chain eyewear centers hear in Lexington but decided I needed a more thorough evaluation and CKE came highly recommend—a decision I made that was not only MORE convenient but the experience was personalized, more so than I have found at others.... read more
I highly recommend Central KY Eye Care. Dr Lambirth is competent, well-trained, articulate and has a great personality. I was dealing with an eye problem that had been going on far longer and was more serious than I realized. He saw me in office quickly and solved my problems. The staff is friendly and helpful. I am thankful to have been referred to this group.
My first visit had me observing details to see if I would consider making this my new optometrist home. The sign-in area was casual, but efficient as was the tech who took my history. I was impressed with the exams and technology involved. The results were thoroughly explained and my questions were answered in a professional manner. I have already made a recommendation of my new optometrist.
I was thoroughly researching good eye doctors for my routine eye exams and luckily, I came across this business. I had my first visit a couple weeks ago and the staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, patient, and professional. The environment is very cozy and welcoming, and there is a variety of glasses to choose from—seriously— there’s so much and most of it is covered by insurance. The front office was great. Dr. Courson was informative and humored my many questions. Sara was fantastic and helped me find the right frames for my needs. Eye appointments are also healthcare, not just a new prescription, and they take that seriously here. I'm looking forward to picking up my new glasses!
