I highly recommend this practice for outstanding eye care. The appointment availability is reasonable and there is availability if urgent care is needed. Dr Lanham is attentive, thorough, and kind. The office has state of the art equipment. The staff are efficient and pleasant. One remarkable aspect of this practice is the diversity of the staff. There is ample parking in front of the practice.

The staff is great. They are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. I never have to wait long for my appointment, and they have my contacts shipped straight to my apt. If you ever have any issues or concerns, they make sure to tweak your prescriptions until it works just right.

We have never had a problem with Central Kentucky Eye Care until recently. We tried to order contacts in early March and they did not tell us that policy had changed and that we had to pay up front. They told us that the contacts would be in on March 25th and when they did not call us I called them. So now we're out of contacts and they gave a one week sample. Whew! The price has gone way up. I just tried to order them again and then when I asked them to be delivered to the office so I can pick them up cuz I work close by, ... read more

My experience with CKE was the best one I’ve had with any optometry location I’ve visited. The ENTIRE staff was great; from the moment I was greeted, through the examination and to the eyewear selection process, everyone was truly amazing. For convenience, I typically visit one of the chain eyewear centers hear in Lexington but decided I needed a more thorough evaluation and CKE came highly recommend—a decision I made that was not only MORE convenient but the experience was personalized, more so than I have found at others.... read more

What a shame that 0 stars is not a option. I ordered safety glasses from them and had to make repeated calls only to be told they should be here tomorrow, they will be here Friday, oh they will be here one day next week. Yep they shipped, oh no they didn't. Then I get them and they have a very noticeable scratch on the lens. So I was told they would order me another pair and since I was inconvenienced I would have two pair. Then I was told, nope you have to return the old ones.
