Be careful to use this escrow company. They are doing work unprofessional and careless. Because their mistake they made me lost $5000. And they refuse to take responsibility. Avoid them!
The person handling the case never communicates in a timely manner and always informs you of what need to do at the last minute. When issues arise, they simply shift the blame to the buyer. During the signing of the closing documents, they do not thoroughly explain the contents, only providing the document names and let you sign because of the last minute issue.
I've bought and sold houses using three different escrow companies. Most of them were efficient and provided good service. However, Central Escrow Group was an exception. They were slow, disorganized, and it felt like I was only dealing with their assistants. Without frequent calls, they never moved to the next step. I wouldn’t recommend their services.
My bank recommended Betty and her company (central escrow group) to me and I’m so glad I used their service. Betty is a very responsible person, she also works very hard and efficient. I went to her office a couple times and she is always very professional and explain everything in detail to me. She also called me several times to update me of my case and I deeply appreciated it. I truly feel that I can rely on her during the whole process. In the future, if I need to use escrow again, for sure I will contact Betty again
