I lived in that building for 9 years. in the first year i had to make several complaints to MLE and city in order to have basic living standards met. my fireplace burst into my living room. i was gaslit about it. There were several bed bug infestations and cockroach treatments. i called every baseboard and light fixture and kept all my linens in bags in my drawers- permanently. I would like to take a moment to recognize and sincerely appreciate Kerryann Hackett for the excellent work she does as the caretaker of our building. The building is always exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staircases and carpets are consistently spotless and even smell fresh, which speaks volumes about the level of care and attention she puts into her work every day. Special thanks to Chris Beyer, who was super accommodating even during his off hours to make sure our move in to our new commercial unit was smooth. Do not rent from them. Horrible management. Particularly Frank Carone who never helped us with any complaint. We weren't even given his phone number. So when something comes up, you have to call their main number to connect you. That's only Mon-Fri 9-5. You're on your own out of those hours. We had to be treated for roaches on 3 separate occasions in just a year and a half. The last time, my husband told Frank when he saw babies in the hallway.
