We have been taking my kids there for 12 years and normally have nothing but great experiences. HOWEVER, while the dentist was working on my blonde hair daughter who is in high honors, he made a comment that blondes are dumb. Saying that his brunette assistant was "actually blonde" after she told an embarrassing anecdote. I find the unprofessionalism more upsetting then anything else.
Both my kids love this place!! And I’m definitely happy that the staff and dentists are so awesome!!!!

My daughter was a patient of Dr. Gatehouse in Old Saybrook for 5 years. Over the past year the practice seems to have declined dramatically. Dr. Gatehouse no longer practices in Old Saybrook. We had to change our insurance to United Healthcare. CCPD Office Manager did not tell us at the time that they were not part of the UH network. We agreed to a treatment plan with the estimate of $200 co-pay, which we paid. Now we've learned that since CCPD is not in the UH Network we owe 7X the estimate! The dentists are fantastic with my little guy. He's 2 years old with a mouth full of teeth. He feels comfortable and enjoys the dentist. Today was his third time.
This place is great with the children! It is so kid friendly!! All my children love it here
