Dr. Edgar Castillo-Armas is very knowledgeable. He has helped me understand the subject of what I am dealing with.
Awful experience dealing with Edgar Castillo who not only wasted months of my time and effort when already in a bad mental place, he also made it a point to fight with my ACTUAL doctor (who does know all my info, unlike edgar castillo, which was a quick $45 assessment. Just like any other assessment with any treatment/psychiatric related facilities, they did not help me. But they did make sure to make me give my information to them. I was personally told by Dr. Castillo when I first met him for my consultation that I would be "depression free" and that him and his staff would help me "wean" off my antidepressants. I literally cried right in front of him. Unfortunately after 35 treatments, me and my insurance paying him over $20k it did not work, they did not help me "wean" off my medication and I was only "med free" for three weeks when my depression came back worse. After that he refused to see me.
Edgar saved my life. I am very grateful for his help in my recovery.
