Like others have said, after being a loyal customer to them for years it constantly feels like I am bringing taken advantage of. Ryan has been our service tech more than once and we have found him also to be inattentive. He does not like being observed which is a red flag. It feels like he is always killing time tbh. Brief Version: Unethical and dishonest employee, Ryan, actively sabotaged my effort to prevent potential freeze damage at my rental property by lying to me about the room temperature, as he tried to cover for his negligence and incompetence. Long Version: I initially called Centraire at 10am on Friday, Feb 15th to get a boiler fixed that was under warranty at a 4plex rental property where Centraire had installed 3 new boilers a month ago. Service is terrible. We were charged a "service fee" after having two techs come out two different times and told us two completely different things were wrong with our ac/heating unit. Nothing was ever fixed. Terrible experience. Would not recommend this company to anyone.
$130 for them to show up then another $130 to replace a filter. after negotiating $195 was the best they could do and they didn't fix the problem. Had another company come out and in less than 15min they found furnace had a bad sensor. They fixed the issue in an hour and i paid $165.
I expected more cleaning, inspection, and attention to detail for the $195 they charged for an annual service check..... Extremely poor cost-to-value. Never again-----too many other options offering better value for similar minimal service & time. ....Also, pay by check-----receipt had all credit card info visible!?!?!?!?
If their service and work is anything like their driving and road rage - stay away from these guys. Weaving on the highway in rush hour traffic then flipped off my wife when she passed them. Suggestion- if you’re gonna drive like an idiot, maybe don’t do it in the company van. And certainly don’t be waving the middle finger.

Very bad experience with Centraire regarding a gas leak repair. Very unprofessional and almost a creepy vibe from the so called technician. (Found the guy wandering around in my shed for no reason...!!!) Technician seemed rather uneducated in the field of gas repair. They claimed that they couldn't find a gas leak and left the gas line on. I too had a bad experience. My AC wasn't working right. I was new to the home and found the centraire sticker on my heater so I called them. They came out and worked a while and said they needed to replace all of the refrigerant or whatever it is they drain and replace. A serviceman (I believe his name was John) came out the next day and worked a while. AC still not working after putting new fluid in. He was a chatty guy which is frustrating when you work from home.
